Crown Him with Many Crowns is an arrangement of the familiar hymn tune for SATB voices with organ accompaniment. This arrangement is by Diane Bish, the renowned organist, so the organ accompaniment is fairly difficulty and a real showpiece for an excellent organist. Brass and timpani are optional (parts available separately from the Publisher).
Begins with a one-page organ and SATB divisi choral fanfare, moving into the first verse of the hymn in unison with SATB harmonies on the last few bars. The second verse features the men of the choir in unsion, while the third verse is in SATB harmonies, legato, very expressively. The final verse begins in unison (with a soprano descant) with SATB harmonies on the final chords, ending with an SATB divisi fanfare. Choral parts are of moderate difficulty. Duration of 3 minutes.
