Orchestrations allow orchestras to accompany choirs - either anthems, choral collections, or cantatas/musicals. An orchestration contains every instrumental part included in the arrangement of an anthem or cantata, in place of the regular piano accompaniment. Orchestra parts are printed single-sided on 8-1/2" x 11" paper.
Anthem Orchestrations are for one specific anthem or selection, or sometimes a Publisher will pull-out a piece from a larger choral collection).
Musical Orchestrations are for larger choral works such as Christmas musicals or Easter cantatas.
Instrumental Ensemble Music -- orchestrations for small church ensembles, typically collections of familiar hymn tunes. Each part is sold separately (i.e. conductor’s score, piano, viola, cello, flute, trumpet, etc.).
Praise Band Charts - Praise Band charts are usually done for more contemporary praise and worship anthems or songbooks and are similar to the full orchestration, but does not include string parts, and the brass section may also be less than in a full orchestration.
Separate Instrumental Parts - Often anthems will feature a separate instrument part, or a set of parts (brass quartet, etc.) that supplement the choral arrangement.
